John T. Albanese - President

  John’s passion for the welding industry first began at The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Road Railroad Company where he served in a State Indentured Apprenticeship Program as a Boilermaker. John completed his Apprenticeship and became a Journeyman in 1975. Always looking for opportunities to grow, John was hired by The Allis Chalmers Corporation as a Fitter-Welder performing X-Ray quality welds on Steam and Gas Turbines including Hydro Pumps. John held various positions including Weld Shop Foreman that has shaped his career in the welding industry.
  
  An industrial accident at Allis Chalmers in 1982 and a major downturn in the economy allowed John to search for other opportunities related in the welding field. He found his opportunity at Linnehan Welding Supply Company as a Sales Engineer. He was responsible for obtaining new customer accounts, as well as maintaining existing customer base, developing new products, and process training. In 1984 John was recruited by Airco Welding Supply Company, a major producer of Industrial Gases, and Welding Equipment worldwide, and began his 18 year Sales Career as a Top Performer in Industrial Gases and Welding Related Sales. During John’s extensive hands on experience in various welding applications and processes, he was appointed to BOC Gases National Fabrication Development Team. This team was designed to teach and train sales personnel in newly developed welding products, processes and procedures.
  
  John's extensive experience and dedicated customer service. John decided to start his own business, Advanced Welding Supply Company, Inc., on April 1, 2003. His goal was to build a successful company that focused on demonstrating loyal and honest customer service. Today, Advanced Welding Supply Company continues to be a recognized leader in serving diverse customers with quality service. With continued growth and success, John Albanese has not lost sight of his vision to serve his customers with honesty, integrity and loyalty. It is important to both John and Chris to serve their customers with Christian values and principals.

Chris J. Albanese - Vice President

  Chris's journey started with Advanced Welding Supply Company, Inc. on January 1, 2008. Prior to joining the family business, he graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin in May 2007, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. While working toward his degree, he managed to be a four year member of the Carroll University football team. He was awarded All-Midwest Conference linebacker three of his four years. To further his knowledge in the welding industry he decided to enroll at MATC. There he took classes on technical aspects of the welding and industrial gas equipment. He is a member at large with the American Welding Society Milwaukee section.
  
  Chris maintains and grows his existing customer base at Advanced Welding Supply Company. With technology constantly improving he will strive to be current and knowledgeable in the industrial gas and welding supply industry.
